Chronic Disease Management
Ongoing management of diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, COPD, asthma, thyroid conditions, high cholesterol, and other chronic conditions with regular monitoring and medication management.
Acute & Minor Illness
Cold, flu, respiratory infections, UTIs, sinus infections, rashes, allergic reactions, and other acute conditions diagnosed and treated the same day.
Lab Work & Diagnostics
Lab orders placed during your visit with results reviewed directly by Dr. Lucas. No chasing down results through a portal, she calls you.
Medication Management
Prescription renewals, medication adjustments, drug interaction reviews, and new prescriptions written at the point of care and sent electronically to your pharmacy.
Preventive Care
Health screenings, immunizations, cancer screenings, cardiovascular risk assessment, and wellness counseling to keep you ahead of illness before it starts.
Care Coordination
Specialist referrals, hospital follow-up coordination, and communication with other members of your care team. Dr. Lucas doesn't work in a silo, she works with your full care team.

Do you accept new patients?
Yes. Lucas EHC is actively welcoming new patients. Dr. Lucas accepts patients 13 years and older for primary care services via office visit, mobile care, or telehealth.
What insurance do you accept?
We accept Medicaid, Medicare, Aetna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Right Health, Bright Health, and more. BCBS NC credentialing is in progress.
Can I transfer my existing care to Dr. Lucas?
Absolutely. Bring or send your medical records, medication list, and recent lab results when you book your first appointment. Dr. Lucas uses Athena Health, which integrates with most major EHR systems.
How quickly can I be seen?
We work hard to offer same-day or next-day appointments for new and established patients. Call 336-543-0480 if your need is urgent and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Do you prescribe controlled substances?
Dr. Lucas can prescribe a wide range of medications. Controlled substance prescriptions are subject to federal regulations and may require an in-person evaluation. Call to discuss your specific needs.
