Seniors and homebound patients: Aging-in-place with confidence. Primary care comes to you, not the other way around.
Post-hospital discharge patients: Follow-up care at home reduces readmissions and speeds recovery.
Patients with mobility limitations: Wheelchairs, walkers, or chronic conditions that make travel difficult are no barrier to receiving excellent care.

Comprehensive assessment with professional-grade portable equipment. Everything you'd get in an office, delivered to your living room.
Diagnosis & Prescriptions
Acute and chronic condition diagnosis. Prescriptions sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy the same day.
Lab Orders
Lab work ordered and coordinated during your visit. Results reviewed with you directly by Dr. Lucas.
Chronic Disease Management
Ongoing management of diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart disease, and other chronic conditions without leaving home.
Preventive Care
Annual wellness exams, health screenings, immunizations, and preventive care recommendations on your schedule.
Care Coordination
Referrals, specialist coordination, and communication with other members of your care team. We don't work in a silo.

Mobile Care FAQ
Does insurance cover house call visits?
Yes. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most major commercial insurance plans for mobile visits. Medicare covers house calls when medical necessity is documented. Call us to verify your specific plan before booking.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We try to accommodate same-day and next-day requests when possible, but scheduling 2-3 days ahead is ideal for planned visits. Call 336-543-0480 for urgent scheduling needs.
What if I live in a county not on the list?
Call us at 336-543-0480. Depending on location and availability, we may be able to extend service to nearby areas. Telehealth is also available statewide for patients outside the mobile zone.
Can Dr. Lucas prescribe medications on a house call?
Yes. Dr. Lucas can diagnose, treat, and prescribe during mobile visits. Prescriptions are sent electronically to your pharmacy the same day.
Is this the same as home health or hospice?
No. Lucas EHC provides primary care, the same comprehensive care you'd receive at a doctor's office, delivered to your home. Home health and hospice are different services focused on skilled nursing care or end-of-life care.
